Difficult-to-source industrial components: questions and answers

Straight answers to the questions buyers ask before sending a difficult parts request.

Questions and answers

What kinds of parts can I ask for?
Industrial automation, electrical, drive, control and mechanical parts identified by a manufacturer part number, including discontinued ones. Safety-critical components are excluded at least initially.
Are you an authorised distributor?
No. We source independently and say so. If the part is easy to get from a distributor near you, we will point that out.
Do you keep parts in stock?
No. Each part is located for the request and evidenced before it is quoted.
How do you price?
One clear price to your border or your plant, stated in a written quotation with what is included and excluded. Estimated import duties are shown separately: you are the importer of record, and we can connect you with licensed customs brokers.
Do you offer a warranty?
Warranty depends on the item and is stated in the quotation where it exists. We do not promise a warranty we cannot back.
How long does it take?
It depends on the part and where it is. We do not quote times we have not confirmed for your order.
Will you tell me where the part comes from?
We are your counterparty for the order. Origin and condition evidence relevant to your decision is shared in the quotation.

Can't find what you need?

Send us the part number, a nameplate photo or a datasheet — or describe the machine — and we'll source it for you. Partial information is fine.
